Good Reicpe...missing vital step.

Crock-pot French Dip Sandwiches

Ingredients

1 beef chuck roast (about 3 lbs.)
2 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp. dried rosemary
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 bay leaf
3-4 whole peppercorns
8 French rolls, split

Directions

Place roast in crock-pot. Add water, soy sauce, and seasonings. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours or until beef is tender. Remove meat from broth; shred with forks and keep warm. Strain broth; skim off fat. Pour broth into small cups for dipping. Serve beef on rolls. Makes 8 servings

Here is a recipe for French Dip sandwiches. I think it is good but I don’t know for sure.

Here is a tip that the author of the recipe left out.

***PLUG IN THE CROCKPOT***

Turns out, this is a vital step in the process and I neglected to do it.

I’ll tell you in about 6 more hours if it is any good…

Oh, I hate it when that happens! Sounds good though. It would actually make quite a yummy midnight snack!
