The Mother Ship Sets Sail.

Well, we’ve sold the Mother Ship. That is her, pulling out of the driveway.

I was a little sad to see her go.

I now have no wheels. I hope we find something soon. I do believe I have mentioned that I cannot drive The Teenager’s Truck.

I am hoping for an Excursion. Sir D is hoping for another 12 passenger van only this time with a diesel engine.

We’ll see.

I'm so glad to know that I'm not the only one who takes pictures of my cars as they leave. I guess it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not weird, but at least I'm not alone :)

May you be blessed with a wonderful new vehicle!!!

awww, bye bye faithful van! Diesel is 10 cents more here than gas right now, which lessens the incentive for people to buy diesel powered vehicles. My hubby cringes when he fills up our truck these days!

Diesel is quite expensive here too. Everyone thinks we're nuts for buying a diesel.

The thing is, they're turning up on the market right now for MUCH cheaper than we could previously buy one.

I think we'll get a good deal on the vehicle, but it's gonna cost to run!

We only run one car (The Teenager pays for his, though we do help him out with ins) and Sir D's is a company truck, so we really only own and operate one vehicle.

That makes buying something a little more expensive to operate a little more doable.

Now if we could just find it...
